no, it does not modify MBR, unless you use this command to install:
vbootedit install /mbr
By default, if you do "vbootedit install", it will modify boot.init or BCD, to chainload to Windows boot manager, without touching MBR.
As for ram booting, we are investigating. The problem is that you can only do small VHD files. Would this be OK? it's very easy to support ram for small files. |
